The SHED

We’re a 2,000sq ft showroom in beautiful Sproughton (just outside Ipswich), Suffolk, and are pleased to offer treasure from antiques to modern day; from furniture, to gifts and crafts; from gardenware to fashion.

We host over 20 different traders, allowing us to offer an exciting mix of eras and objects. Our newest trader, Belle Francais offers all things French, from linens and enamelware to kitchenalia and furniture.

This year we also branched out to include furniture renovation, upholstery and picture framing among the services that we offer here at The SHED – we know that there’s a demand for all three things as we like to chat to our customers; we’re also researching setting up upholstery workshops as we know they’ll be popular.

Together with our 3 gorgeous pooches Wilma, Indie and Joseph, we welcome you to The SHED where you’re bound to find something of interest – with such an eclectic mix of antique, vintage, crafts and brocante, who wouldn’t?

​Last but by no means least, let us introduce you to Tea at The Shed run by Simon with his amazing dishes: open sandwiches and toasted paninis; the fillings of which are change on a weekly basis – make it a regular lunch date! A selection of hot dishes, changing every two days – visit often, sample a new delight every time. Home made cakes and cream teas – fresh every day… no explanation needed!

Every Wednesday is ‘ladies’ day’ – a set two-course lunch (main and sweet), followed by tea or coffee is offered at £12.50 and the Sunday Special  is a whole roast chicken, potatoes, salad ,fresh bread with dipping oil and mango salsa, available for £16.00 for two people – who would you share yours with?
